THE COMPANY

THE COMPANY

The B.C. group of textile mills is a vertical manufacturer of silk and silk-blended fabrics and accessories. Our fabrics can be seen in garments and accessories at major retailers such as Barneys, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Opening Ceremony and Saks Fifth Avenue.

B.C. AMERICA and B.C. CORPORATION were founded together in 1990 in the United States and Korea respectively. B.C. America operated as a design, merchandising and production management studio for silk accessories from its base in Manhattan's Garment District. B.C. Corporation, based just south of Seoul, began as a hand screen printer and soon thereafter added weaving, dyeing, cutting and sewing to its production capacities.

RUSHAN B.C., SHANDONG B.C. and SHENGZHOU B.C. were established in China in the early 2000s to meet industry demands for higher production volumes at competitive prices. They were newly designed and built specifically for the vertical manufacture of silk accessories. Rushan B.C. has been especially recognized by numerous independent compliance agencies as adhering to the strictest guidelines for manufacturing and supplying neckties for major retailers in the U.S.

B.C. Corporation has since been restructured as a silk and silk-blended fabric manufacturer for high-end ready-to-wear, bridal and evening wear designers and brands. Its production capacities have been expanded with the addition of a digital printing facility and the acquisition of the NEW STAR SILK COMPANY which boasts a 30-year history as a weaving mill in Korea.
